5 old brass lenses compared

Check out Jim Galli‘s comparison of five old barrel lenses. He set the camera to 40 inches and moved the camera to focus on the flower. Lenses compared are:

  • Wollensak Verito 11.5″ f/4
  • Cooke Aviar 14″ f/5.6
  • Gundlach Hyperion 12″ f/4
  • Dallmeyer Patent Petzval 3B 11″ f/3
  • Darlot lantern Petzval of about 10″ f/5

The results are gorgeous, and all quite different!
